Ronald Earl Duffy, 88, of Inver Grove Heights, MN, passed away peacefully on September 16th, 2021 in St. Paul, MN.

Ron was born in Chicago, IL to the late Charles and Jewell Duffy on September 15, 1933. He was survived by wife, Holly, and sons Bret (Laura) and Kevin (Theresa) and grandson Connor. He was also a guardian to the many dogs and cats that enriched his life.

Ron received a B.S. degree from George Williams College and a M.A. from the University of Iowa. He had a long career as an actor, director & writer in theatre, motion pictures and TV in Chicago and Phoenix areas before moving to Minneapolis. Ron was a member of Equity & SAG-AFTRA. He was also a Managing Director at Phoenix Little Theatre and Timber Lake Playhouse. Ron taught drama at Oak Park & River Forest High School in Illinois and Norfolk State College in Virginia.

Ron is preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Jewell Duffy and his brothers, Charles and Robert Duffy.

The family has chosen to have a private memorial to be held at a later date
