A loving husband, dad and grandpa

Ron Kaylor passed away at home on 3/19/21 surrounded by his family. He had just turned 69 on Valentine's Day. He is now safe in the arms of Jesus after a courageous battle with gastric cancer. He is missed greatly by his wife (of almost 42 years) Carolyn; children: Haven (Paul) Habermann and son Beau; and grandchildren. Ron is well known in the medical industry as he served as an RN throughout the metro area for nearly 50 years. He was most recently the DON at Bay View Nursing Home in Red Wing and prior to that at Ramsey County Care Center in Maplewood. There have been multiple other facilities where he made a difference for staff and residents as well. He was the DON at the Minnesota Veterans Home and consulted with Pathways Health Services as well. He also consulted all around the country with Benedictine Health Systems. He was an avid gardener, collector/buyer/seller of antiques, a traveler all besides being a proud family man. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart and was welcomed into Heaven by many loved ones who had gone on before.
