About Roger
Roger was the second of three sons to Howard and Minerva (Dunn) and grew up in Maplewood, MN. He was proceeded in death by his younger brother Herbert. His older brother Richard currently resides in WI with his new bride Alice. Roger was also preceded in death by his long-time girlfriend Arlene Allen and ex-wife Gwendolyn Minter. He left behind four daughters; Cheryl Zacharias , Roxanne Jackson, Susanne Buck (Tim), and Carolyn Buck. Roger had 8 grandchildren; Jessica (Jesse), Jamie, Avery (Brandon), Nicholas, Adam, Nicole, Kayla, and Kenneth. He also has 7 great grandchildren; Keyannah, Lily, Ambrosia, Azaelea (a heavenly angel), Keenan, Logan, and Blake.
During his career, Roger labored as a mechanic during the day however his greatest love was flying and he spent uncountable hours in his garage or hanger with friends and family either working on, dreaming about, or restoring his Cessna and 1940’s Luscombe single engine planes. Roger and Arlene also enjoyed spending weekends at their cabin in WI.
