Rodrick “Rod” Haney, 42, of Bagley, passed away on June 4th at the Sanford Bagley Medical Center surrounded by family.

Rod was born September 21st, 1979, in Waconia, MN, to parents Craig & Karen Haney.

On September 25th, 2004, he married Kristine Crandall, the love of his life. They took a leap of faith and moved from Hanover MN, to their dream home in rural Bagley, February of 2005. They were blessed with two children, Grace Autumn & Hogan Rodrick.

Rod was employed at TEAM Industries for 14 years in various positions, with the most recent being Mechanical Inspector where he thrived with his analytical work. He enjoyed spending time in the woods, hunting, fishing, boating, four-wheeling, dirt biking, camping, grilling, and playing pool. The most important thing to him was spending time with his wife and kids, especially at the Haney homestead.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kristine, his daughter Grace, his son Hogan, his mom Karen (John) Heath, brother Wesley (Heidi) Haney, stepmom Dorene Haney, mother in law Sharon (George) Dolan, brother in law Ryan Dolan, father in law Terry Crandall, and many other relatives & friends.

He is preceded in death by his dad Craig Haney, special friends Earl Schott and Bradley Neujahr, paternal & maternal grandparents.
