born August 23rd 1954, passed on February 10th 2021 after battling cancer. Born in Oregon, raised in South Minneapolis. Served in US Air Force. Employed by Coca-Cola, self-employed carpenter. Enjoyed neighborhood walks, socializing with friends at the Vegas Lounge and Cliff & Norms. Survived by son Michael Stenberg (Alecia Hansen), grandchildren Alex Hansen & Jayne Stenberg, siblings Becky (Gary) Bergdahl, Kathy (Brad) Williams, James (Theresa) Mikelson, Sherna (Jim) Michaelis, Jerri Kay (Chris) Gilbert, Dean (Stephanie) Mikelson, Rhoda Johnson. Preceded in death by grandparents Justin & Alice Mikelson, parents James Mikelson & Mary Jane Tewksbury (Lundstrom). Interment at Fort Snelling. (Published in the Star Tribune on February 21, 2021)
