Robert Joseph Thon

Robert Joseph Thon was born on May 23, 1952, in Minneapolis, MN, to Robert Herman Thon and Virginia Ann (Benson) Thon.

He married Susan R. Larson, of Coon Rapids, MN, on April 28, 1984, and they were devoted to each other in marriage until Bob’s death on December 30, 2021, in St Paul, MN.

Until his retirement, Bob was employed by the State of Minnesota, at Anoka Technical College, and he was proud and conscientious regarding his responsibilities there. When he retired, he was presented a Certificate of Recognition by Governor Mark Dayton, for his 35 years of Service.

Bob was preceded in death by siblings LeRoy, Beverly, and Irene. He is survived by his wife Susan, and by one sister, Linda Stelflug.
