Robert Jay Miller

Robert Jay Miller, 86, of Hugo, Minnesota, passed away on October 14, 2022. Bob was born July 14, 1936 to Harry J. Miller and Marjorie H. Hess in South Dakota. After serving in the military, Bob spent most of his adult life in Minnesota. Bob was a school principal in South Washington County School District where he was beloved by his students and staff. He loved travelling with Lenore, following the sports of his children and grandchildren and coaching when he could. Bob always enjoyed cheering (or frustrated yelling) for the Twins and Vikings. When relaxing, you could usually find Bob enjoying a book, an old western on TV, fishing from the dock, tending a bonfire or ironing.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Lenore Miller, children Dan (Lindsay) Miller, Bryan (Jen) Thayer, Steve (Alicia) Thayer, Kathleen (Dan) Opatz, David (Ann) Miller, Kelly (Chris) Fenske, Bryan Miller, Paul (Stacy) Miller, Kristy (Charles) Setnes, Kim (Tony) Yaroch, 28 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and his best friend Buddy.
