Loving husband and father

Robert Donald Nerlien (62) passed away unexpectedly at home in Columbia Heights on November 2nd 2025. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota but grew up in Sheyenne, North Dakota. Robert joined the army in 1982 and completed his service in Berlin, Germany.

After his time in the service he became a semi truck driver, which he absolutely loved.

Robert married his wife in August of 1998 and they shared 30 years of love together.

Robert is survived by his wife Kathie, daughter Jeanette, sisters Kay (Julie), Jodi Cooper and brother Keith.

Burial and service will be held Tuesday, December 2nd at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
