life story

Robert "Bob" White, 53, of Rockford, IL, passed away on July 30, 2025. Bob was a man of simple pleasures, enjoying nothing more than relaxing with a cold beer in hand while listening to his favorite music. He was a loving father, and his greatest pride and joy in life were his daughters, Allyson and Morgan White.

Bob’s love for his family was unmatched, and his fondest memories were those spent at Mortenson's Resort in Cable, WI. He cherished the many summers he spent there with his grandparents, and those times remained close to his heart throughout his life.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Allyson and Morgan White; his father, Richard (Mary) White; his sisters, Dawn and Kristi White; his brother, Rick (Katie) White and step siblings; Jill (Scott) Schultz, Jeff (Laura) Salsbury, and nieces; Makayla and Evelyn. Bob was predeceased by his grandparents and his mother, Sherry White. Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on August 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion, 1011 S Alpine Rd, Rockford, IL 61108. All are welcome to join in honoring his memory.
