life story
Bob Loved Life, Adventure, and His Family
Bob always had a joke to share and an insight about science and the universe. Bob spent his early years in New Jersey, and graduated from Rutger's University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. His intelligence, and unique welcoming personality, beckoned people to join him in discussion on many topics.
The best years of his life were spent living in Arizona with his wife of 65 years, Betty. Bob loved the mountain city of Show Low, Arizona, where he lived upon retirement. But, due to declining health at 85 years of age, he and Betty left Arizona, and moved to reside in Woodbury, Minnesota to be close to family. He passed away just a short time after this, as he succumbed to a rapid decline in physical and mental health and left this earth at 88 years old. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, four grandchildren and a one great-grandchild.
Bob will be sorely missed. His nature and his insight were rare and unique on the planet.
No funeral services were held for Bob in Minnesota. However, an intimate memorial service was held by family and friends in Arizona.
About Bob
Bob enjoyed a lifetime of playing the sport of golf. He was an avid musician, playing both the guitar and piano. He was also an artist and created oil paintings. In his latter years of life, he and Betty camped and hiked throughout the United States and Canada; accompanied by their beloved dog "Bonnie" and their cat "Puddin."
