Thank you from Rick's family!

Thank you to all of you for your support. So many of our family and friends sent cards, gave gifts, and/or showed up at the Celebration of Life gathering. We feel very supported, loved and blessed by you. We will be donating a gift of thanks in Rick's honor to the hospice providers who were so very helpful during his final two weeks. Though we are going to feel this loss for a long time, today we have been filled up by your generosity and warmth and are sincerely grateful.

On Sunday morning, June 20, Rick passed away peacefully with family members at his side. Rick grew up in Shoreview, MN and lived in the area his whole life. His many friends knew him as a kind hearted fellow who was always willing to help a guy out.

He most enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time up north at “the shack” in Buyck, MN. He loved his family and friends, his dog, Scootie, and a nice cold glass of milk.

Rick was preceded in death by his best friend, Patty.

He is survived by parents Roy and Diane Cook, brother Jim Cook, and sisters Barbara Cook, and Linda (Bruce) Brasaemle, eight nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends.
