Richard "Rick/Rich" Meyer

Richard “Rick/Rich” Irwin Meyer, of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, died Friday, August 12, 2022, at the age of 57 as the result of injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

Rick was born September 10, 1964, in Chisago City, Minnesota, to Delbert and Janet (Ross) Meyer. He was united in marriage to Theresa Meyers on June 24, 1995, at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Crystal, Minnesota. Rich really liked his profession working as a maintenance mechanic. He enjoyed building pinewood derby cars, driving and repairing his RC model cars, working on vehicles, and designing items at work to make tasks easier for co-workers. Rich was the kind of guy who would help his family, friends, and neighbors with fixing and building anything and everything.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; his children: Justin, Timothy, and María Meyer; sisters, Cathleen (Peter) Andreasen and Elizabeth (Charles) Kinne; his father and mother-in law: Charles and Margaret Meyers; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; several nieces, nephews, and cousins along with other family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sisters: Sandra Meyer and Sheila (Meyer) Forsberg; aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28 from 3:00-5:00 PM at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Crystal, Minnesota, in the upper east gathering area.

Funeral will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Crystal, Minnesota. There will be a private family burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
