Richard "Ray" Clemas

life story

Age 79, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, of heart failure. Preceded in death, by parents Edward and Grace Clemas and his sister, Patricia Clemas. Survived by wife, Harriette Manis.

Ray was a committed and accomplished professional in the hospitality industry in which he thrived. He was passionate about many things throughout his life, but what brought him great joy was his love for music, and writing and travel. After retirement Ray took great pride in a novel, he wrote and self-published and in doing so he accomplished a life-long dream. Ray also prided himself in being a fixer. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars and challenging himself with household projects both at home and at his beloved cabin. Ray worked tirelessly to make everything just right.

Ray had a wonderful zest for life and for all he accomplished over his lifetime. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life will take place in the near future.
