Richard "Dick" Riess

life story

Dick passed away at home from complications of ALS. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Jean Riess. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughters Carolyn (Mark) Dykoski, Elizabeth Vander Laan, Julie (Trevor) Maassen, 5 grandchildren, Brianna, Oliver, Kate, Ethan, and Eli, brother Robert "Bob" Riess and sister Kathie (Gale) Priebe.

Dick worked as a pharmacist for 46 years. Family was everything to him. He often planned trips, games and activities with his kids and grandkids. He will be missed.

He also had a warm place in his heart for dogs and has donated to several dog rescue organizations throughout the years.
