Rhonda Faye Anstine (Schleicher), 62, died on April 15, 2022 with her husband by her side.

Rhonda was born on August 26, 1959 at the Fairfield Hospital in California near the Travis Air Force Base to Richard and Hazel Schleicher. Her family traveled for a few years with the Air Force before settling in Park Rapids, MN and opening The Schleicher Steakhouse in Nevis, MN.

Rhonda attended Park Rapids Area High School where she graduated in 1977. While attending school she met Jim Anstine and they were married on September 17, 1977.

Thereafter they traveled to Montana, Colorado, and Wyoming. During this time she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 15, 1979. Her faith was one of the most important things throughout her life.

Jim and Rhonda settled in Park Rapids and started a family. They were married for 44 years and enjoyed many adventures together. She worked for the Hubbard County Highway Department as the accountant and retired after nearly 40 years. She took a lot of pride in her work.

Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, telling stories to her grandchildren and teaching people about Jehovah God. She also loved fishing, dancing, motorcycling with her husband and watching movies while eating popcorn with extra butter.

Rhonda was someone that always made time to help others in need and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Rhonda is survived by her husband Jim; her children, Brian Anstine, Jenna (Charles) Utz, and Ethan (BryAnna) Anstine; 8 grandchildren, Jace, Kennady, Jaxxon, Fiona, Bentley, Otto, Banks, and Marigold; 3 brothers, Richard Jr., Brian and Eric.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Hazel; and sister, Paula Collins.
