Renee McDunn

Renee McDunn, age 74, of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 31, 2025.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Michael, their children Jason (Elysia), Justin (Sarah), and Gina (Chris), grandkids, Jayden and Elayna, bonus grandkids, Ashton and Colton, sister Roxanne (Ricky), nephews Steve (Stacie), Randy (Andi) and many friends and neighbors. She was a proud and loving grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother Rachel, father Ralph, and sister Rosalee.

Renee dedicated nearly 40 years of her career to the Federal Reserve, where she was known for her commitment, hard work and party decorating. She loved having lunch with all of her Fed Friends each day too. Beyond her professional life, she had a gift for making everyday moments special. She loved planning parties and took joy in decorating for each holiday, always creating fun and unique themes year after year. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the thoughtful touches she took pride in sharing with others. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with her family, especially her grandkids.

Those who knew her will remember her thoughtfulness and the way she made everyone feel valued and special. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and joyful memories.
