Renee Marie Rouleau-Llewellyn

September 29, 1960 – August 15, 2026

Coon Rapids, MN, USA

Renee Marie Llewellyn, age 65 of Coon Rapids, Minnesota passed away on August 15, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Renee was born to Robert and June Rouleau in Virginia, Minnesota on September 29, 1960.

After high school she moved to the Twin Cities in 1982, where she eventually married her longtime sweetheart, Reese Llewellyn on February 20, 1988. Together they raised their son Daniel Llewellyn.

Renee worked an impressive 37 years for First Student in Anoka. Starting in October of 1989 until the end of this school year of 2026. She was a compassionate and dedicated bus driver for special needs children. And a recipient of an honorable safety award that she was so proud of.

Above all, Renee loved God, her family, Music and her Happy Place. She had every track Todd Rundgren ever wrote and attended every concert he performed at in the area. She had a special ear for music and loved to worship with various Christian artists.

Her Happy Place was on the Rum River at Country Camping where they had a home away from home in a private, isolated site close to the river. She enjoyed sitting in the sandy river and camp fires with family and friends. Everyone who knew her spoke of her kind, loving soul. And we can’t forget to mention her love for the smell of fresh clean sheets hung on the line and popcorn! And of course, Meep her cat.

Renee is survived by her husband Reese, her son Daniel (wife Alexis) her two sisters Bobbi (husband Tom) and Sue (husband Rob) and her brother Joe (wife Brenda).

She was preceded in death by her mother June, her father Robert “Twig” Rouleau and her brother Steve Rouleau.

Renee’s last wish was to be cremated and have a quiet remembrance. Her family is currently grieving and will make plans to put her to rest at a later date with a private celebration of life with family and close friends. Renee will be sadly missed and always remembered for her kindness.
