Raymond (Ray) Dennis Deuermeyer, 78, of St Cloud passed away at Park River Estates, Coon Rapids, MN on February 8 after a long illness. He was born on February 6, 1947, in Aitkin, MN. Ray was the son of Raymond (Ray) C Deuermeyer and Lucille (Lucy) Ruth Berry.

Ray graduated from St Cloud Tech High School in 1965. While there, he played intramural football and was in track. Following graduation, he served in the National Guard in Alaska. He worked in the fishing industry in Alaska and also worked in carpentry and was a truck driver in Oregon and Minnesota. He enjoyed fishing and boating, as well as camping. In his final years, he enjoyed watching old TV comedies and westerns, sports, and having a beer.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He was formerly married to Becky Jennings, nee Haapala, the mother of their daughters, Jessa and Hattie; he was also formerly married to Pamela Thinesen, the mother of their son, Jacob Deuermeyer. He is also survived by daughters Hattie Marie Friend and Jessa Rae Roy (Gregg Roy), of Grand Rapids, MN; and son Jacob Philip Deuermeyer of Ramsey, MN. Also surviving are a brother, Greg Deuermeyer, sisters Sandy Will and LouAnn Corrigan; and grandchildren Hunter Roy, Haley Roy, Reese Roy, Mason Gould, Evan Gould, and Rory Friend; and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation was done by Crescent Tide, St Paul, MN. A celebration of life and spreading of ashes is planned for Spring 2025 in Grand Rapids, MN. In lieu of flowers, please consider having a tree planted in remembrance or donating to his son, Jacob Deuermeyer (via Venmo), to help pay final expenses.
