A loving father, husband and papa

Randy Scheunemann, 64, of Edina, Minnesota, passed away on July 4, 2026. Born on August 21, 1961, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Randy lived a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Randy was the beloved husband of Angie, a devoted father to his children Caitlin (Parker) and Joshua, and stepfather to Heather, Tiphany (Alex) and Josh (Jessica). He was also a proud grandfather to seven who brought immense joy to his life. Randy is also survived by his brothers Dan, Roger, Charlie, and Don. He was preceded in death by first wife Connie, his brother David, and his parents Arlene and Donald.

Randy found great happiness in spending time outdoors camping and gathering around campfires with family and friends. One of his favorite pastimes was smoking meat—a skill he perfected over the years—bringing people together through the meals he prepared. In quieter moments, Randy enjoyed watching "Live on Patrol," finding relaxation in its familiar rhythms.

Those who knew Randy remember him as kind-hearted, loving, and deeply dedicated to his family. His warmth and humor left a mark on everyone he met. As a father and grandfather, he created countless memories that will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday July 27th, 2026, at 2:00pm at the Eagan Community Center, located at 1501 Central Parkway in Eagan, Minnesota.

May Randy’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of the joy he brought into their lives.
