Randy Stuart Williams (66) of Dayton, MN, died at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale on November 19, 2023, following a long and bravely fought battle with cancer and its complications.

Randy was born in Breckenridge, MN in 1957 to parents Maurice and Beverly Williams. Randy was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is loved and cherished by those who had the privilege to be his family and his friends.

Randy graduated from Osseo High School in 1975. He went on to earn a Peace Officer/Public Safety Associate’s Degree and then proudly served the City of Osseo as a police officer for 30 years, retiring in 2007.

Randy is survived by wife, Colleen, children, Chelsea Youngquist, Cody Youngquist (Leah), and Caitlin Williams (Travis), grandchildren, Cole, Zane, Carson, Parker, Zoe, and Stella, siblings Warren (Joannie) Williams, Wendy (Vaughn) Griffin, and Dawn Segura as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Randy loved being a grandpa and spending time with his grandchildren. His happy place was their family cabin on Lake Osakis. He was an avid fisherman and expert marksman.

A remembrance gathering for family and friends will be held at the Osseo American Legion, 260 4th Ave SE, Osseo, on Monday, November 27 from 1-3pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
