Randy Koester was born in beautiful Cody, Wyoming to Harvey and Yvonne Koester. The family of three moved to Long Prairie, Minnesota. The family soon became five. Randy graduated from Long Prairie High School as an Honor Student in 1979. He continued his education at NDSU in Fargo, ND studying Ag Business and was also on the College Rodeo Team. After college he moved to Oklahoma in 1981 to pursue a career as a farrier with his Father, Harvey Koester. Together they built one the most reputable Farrier Businesses in Central Oklahoma. Randy loved roping, training horses and taking his boys to Junior rodeos and High School Rodeos. He was very proud his children and grandchildren. He resided in Woodbury, Mn. with his Fiance at the time of his passing. Randy was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Harry and Verna Koester of Long Prairie, Mn. Parents, Harvey and Yvonne Koester of Chandler, Ok. He is survived by his two sons. Kyle Koester, Chandler,Ok. Kash Koester, Tecumseh,Ok. One sister, Kim Koester Kautzman, Richardton,ND. One Brother, Rex Koester, Chandler, Ok. Grandchildren, Ace Koester, Kambrie Koester, Raylee Koester, all reside in Oklahoma. Three Nieces, Charla Cole, Chandler, Ok. Kayla Munn, Richardton, ND. , Hollee Koester, Chandler, Ok. and Nephew Garrett Koester, Chandler, Ok.

The Memorial for Randy will be set at a later date and will be at Star Valley Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma.
