Quinten was born in Arizona, lived briefly in Nevada before making his forever home in Minnesota at the age of 3. Quinten excelled in school and all extra activities as a young child. He participated in karate, soccer, dance and football until he found his favorite sport, BMX racing. Quinten dedicated many years to BMX which took him all over the state and country for events. He won many trophies and ended at an expert level. Around this same time Quinten found his true love and passion for scootering. There weren't many days that he wasn't on his scooter traveling to every park we could in every state we visited. His beloved scooter came everywhere with us! Scootering is what brought him to an amazing group of friends that we still consider as family. In 2017 when Quinten was diagnosed with Schizophrenia, it was a very dark time in our house. Those friends helped me to get him out of bed, start to shower, and finally get out of the house again and start living his best possible life! During the last few years of his life all I can say is that he truly was living the best possible life in spite of his disability. We went on many vacations including a six-month cross-country trip to California and back, where we visited so many skateparks, enjoyed days of swimming, eating at his favorite restaurants and living the beach life. At home he loved spending time with all of his family. He felt safe and well cared for by his siblings and our enormous friend group that all adored him. He enjoyed daily skating of course, but also family/friend dinners, being out on the boat as much as possible, and riding his bike around the neighborhood. His two most favorite people on the planet are his brothers Tristen and Marty. They, were always there for him, made him feel seen, important and safe. I can't thank them enough for the love they provided to Quinten. He loved our pets so much, especially, his dog Spike that I believe was sent to us just for Quinten. They had a bond like no other.
The pain of losing you will never go away. We do believe your soul was just too good for this world and God needed you way before we were ready! Quinty you are loved by so many and will be missed every minute of every day!

We decided on this location because it is the closest event center to Quinten's favorite Skatepark. I am hopeful for good weather so friends and family that shared in his passion can skate the park in his honor. Stop by anytime between 2-5. For those of you that can't make it in person, you can join in remotely on Google meets at this link.
