life story

Forever fishing and camping.

Pete will always be remembered as an outdoorsman. Fishing, camping and hunting was his favorite hobbies he did with his wife, Sherry and son PJ. He never liked to be around alot of people. His happy place was in his boat with his wife and son fishing and camping on boat access only camp sites on several lakes in northern Maine. He also enjoyed teaching his nieces and nephews how to fish before his health problems stopped him.

Pete

Pete passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and son at his side from a long illness. He was the oldest son of Pietro and Margaret (Bridges) Dellarma, born in Illinois and raised in Solon Maine. He worked at several places growing up. First at the Quimby mill in Bingham, as a logger for Scott Paper, (at spencer bay logging camps), Lucas Tree, Solon Manufacturing, Woodtek in North Anson for almost 30 years, driver for Gagne oil in Belgrade, driver for Mattingly Cement in North Anson, Courier for Skowhegan Savings Bank and retired in 2015. Predeceased by his parents, oldest sister Cheryl McAfee, sister-in-law Patricia Stickney. Survived by his wife Sherry, son PJ and his fiancee Corinna, sister Linda, brothers Tom and wife Kim, Terry and wife Kathy, Brent and his partner Delana, and Derek and his wife Haley, sister-in-law Cindy Emery of Arizona, brother-in-law Kerry Case and his wife Michelle, special close friend he considered as a brother Bob Morrison and wife Bonnie, several cousins, nieces and nephews, sadly missed by his dog buddy Zane. I would also like to thank Maine General Hospice for being very helpful and understanding to Pete before he passed.
