Phyllis Emma Henderson, 79, of Wayzata, passed away on June 11, 2021 in St. Louis Park, MN.

Celebration of life will be Friday June 25, 2021 at Mapleton Community Center, 304 2nd Ave NE, Mapleton, MN 56065 starting at 12PM.

Burial will follow at Beauford Oak Hill Cemetary. Arrangements are by Crescent Tide Crematorium.

Phyllis was born in Mankato, MN to Frank and Emma Warnke on December 28, 1941. She went to school at Mapleton, MN. She married Lawrence Henderson on October 7, 1972 in Hennepin County, MN. Although the union ended in 1986 they remained friends. She worked as a Senior Clerk for Liberty Mutual for 15 years. After retiring from Liberty Mutual she went back to work at Joann Fabrics which she worked up until her untimely death.

Phyllis Emma Henderson is preceded in death by her sisters Bernadette Warnke, Francis Hed; her parents, Frank and Emma Warnke.

Phyllis is survived by; ex-husband, Lawrence Henderson; Son, Joseph Henderson and daughter, Elizabeth Staska; Grandchildren; Savannah, Mckayla, Teagan, Keylee, Alexis, Oliver, Brooklyn and Jayden.

Memorials (funding to help with services preferred) may be given to Elizabeth Staska, 2308 Shadywood Rd, Wayzata, MN 55391

The family of Henderson/Staska wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hutchinson Hospital and Methodist Hospital for all that they did to help.
