Phyllis Earlene Presler (Deppe)

Phyllis Presler, 91, of Cottage Grove, MN (formerly of Long Prairie, MN and Humboldt, IA) passed away peacefully at home with loved ones—just 2 days before her 92nd birthday.

She was a strong woman, a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was loved by many family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson, great-grand child, great-great-grandchildren, many beloved animals, pets, and other loved ones; she definitely has a special group welcoming her.

She enjoyed spending time with family and her dogs, sharing memories of farming and her younger years, talking about the weather, watching sports and game shows, and giving advice about cooking, baking, growing flowers, plants, and gardening.

Phyllis especially loved crocheting—even when her vision deteriorated, she continued making blankets for everyone she knew and donating many to various charities/nonprofit organizations.
