A Humble Man

We are thankful for a life not marked by selfishness, greed or anger but a life of giving and loving.

Peter will be remembered for his humour and humility and will be deeply missed by those who knew him best.

About Peter

Peter found enjoyment in story telling and making others laugh. Life was never dull with Peter around in school, home or family and friend gatherings.

Work started at a young age for Peter where hard work on the farm was a daily event. Milking cows and stacking hay and straw bales were a natural fit for his strength and endless energy.

He worked a variety of jobs well suited for him such as insulation, painting, toolmaker before settling in with repairing and remodeling homes.

He was adventurous and proud to help out with the massive clean up efforts and rebuilding after Category 5 Hurricane Andrew in Miami, Florida in 1992.

He was also proud to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans in 2005.

As many would attest, in addition to his innate ability to bring humor into our world, his physical strength and endurance were his greatest gifts.

Peter is survived by his mother, nine siblings, three daughters, Daniella, Crystal and Bridget, thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a large extended family of many aunt's, uncle's, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends and friends of family.
