Loving husband, father, sibling and friend

Peter passed away from a variety of chronic medical conditions on Feb. 5, 2024. Peter was a proud Navy Veteran and worked as a machinist most of his career, retiring from Richlind Metal Fabricators. He was blessed to enjoy many years of retirement with his wife Georgia. He loved being with his family and did his best to be a loving husband, father, sibling and friend. He could talk and tell jokes to just about anyone, especially over a cigarette and a cup of coffee.

Pete enjoyed bragging about his kids’ accomplishments, spending time celebrating with his wonderful 6 grandchildren and so proud that he lived to welcome 7 great grandchildren into this world. He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Georgia Jensen, children, Dawn (Gene) Olchefske, Jill (Scott Hamlett) Daniel and Joseph Gaudette, step children Rick, Janine and Paul Jensen. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; siblings Ruth Sleavin, John (Mary) Gaudette, Steven (Roberta) Gaudette, brother in law, Terry Blexrud and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Helen Gaudette, wife, Kathy Gaudette and sister, Mary Blexrud.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 am, service at 11am with lunch to follow. Private burial service with military honors will be held at 2pm on May 16, 2024 at Ft Snelling National Cemetery.
