In memory of Paul

Paul passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2021. He was a passionate, creative person who had an arresting presence. After graduating from Cretin High School in 1973, he went on to become a highly skilled maintenance engineer and mechanic; Paul had an astute attention to detail and enjoyed solving problems. He did the best he could with what he had, amidst struggles with mental health and loss. He loved his pets dearly, especially his cats. He is preceded in death by his son Daniel, cat Bunny, parents Leonard and Marie, and brother David. He is survived by his cat Bunktin (aka Mama girl); daughters Michelle (Adam) and Natalie (Weston); sister Margaret (Mark); three grandchildren; the mother of his children and former wife, Rita; former wife Lynne; and many friends and relatives.

He shared his love of discovering agates, designing and building custom woodwork, awesome loud music, drag racing, great times with friends, basketball, ancient trees, roses, reading, bonfires, riding bikes around the Twin Cities lakes, and adventuring on the North Shore with his three children. He fostered a strong work ethic and spirituality, as well as supported creative pursuits and dreams they had.
