Duffy, Patrick Michael age 86, born July 24, 1937 in Minneapolis, MN, living last 16 yrs in Montezuma, IA, died June 19, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents Effie Mae Duffy and John Leo Duffy, sisters, Ethel Knight, Marguerite ("Peggy") Schultz and infant Helen Duffy, brothers Frank Duffy and John Duffy and spouse Rick Stokes. Survived by daughters Debra Paulson (Jeff), Elizabeth Stockhaus (Pat) and son Michael Duffy (Carol); 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved boxers Toby and Diva. This proud Irishman was a member of De La Salle high school class of 1955, retired after a 35+ year career with Northern States Power Company/Xcel Energy. Active with the American Kennel Club and Minnesota Boxer Club. Celebration of life to be held August 19. "May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you.
