Called home way too soon. Always loved. Never forgotten.

Pat was a unique individual. He always said he did not want people crying over him at a funeral, he wanted a party, like a good old Irish Wake.

About Pat

Patrick Glen Sutton, age 54, of Ramsey, MN, passed away on May 25, 2023 after a two month hospitalization.

Pat was born in St. Paul, MN, to Lonnie and Julie Sutton. He grew up in and graduated high school from Redwood Falls, MN.

In September 1987 Pat met Kerri in St. Paul, MN. They married on July 14, 1990. After settling in Ramsey, they had two children: Jackson, born in 1998, and Lindsey, born in 2001.

Pat owned Document Retrieval Services, LLC. He loved being self-employed and fulfilled his dream of not wanting to work for 'someone else'.

He loved traveling, whether it was Italy, Germany, Mexico or Florida (as long as it was warm). And of course, would brag to those back home that it was so much more interesting or warmer where he was...but always wished those back home were with him to enjoy it.

He loved hanging out with family and friends, grilling, brewing and drinking beer, listening to all kinds of music, watching and playing golf, talking a good conspiracy theory, and playing cards. He wasn't much of a board game enthusiast, but he did win 'Pretty Pretty Princess' any time he played. He was quite proud of that, much to the chagrin of his nieces!

Pat was known by many names: hubby, Uncle Tap, Tippy, Banana Pat, Notorious P.A.T. but his favorite name by far was Dad.

Pat will be greatly missed by his wife, Kerri; children Jackson and Lindsey; mother-in-law Ruth Berg; brothers-in-law Dan Beitz, Loren (Michelle) Berg, David (Erika) Berg, Michael Berg; sister-in-law Sue (Toby) Greenwald; nieces and nephews Hallie Beitz, Walker Beitz, Rachel (Daren) Johnson, Rebecca Kolar, Cameron Berg, Sam Berg, Max Berg. He will be missed by so many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents; sister Jennifer Beitz; father-in-law Richard Berg; brother-in-law David Kolar; nephew Jacob Kolar.

Celebration of Life

Edinburgh Golf Course 8700 Edinbrook Crossing, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443, USA

Please come and join us between 2:00 and 5:00 PM to celebrate Pat's life! We will have sandwiches (his favorite food), potato chips and onion dip (his favorite snack), veggies, fruit and desserts. We will also have a keg of Miller High Life and green olives on hand (his favorite beer on a hot day) along with a cash bar.

Pat's go-to attire was either a funny t-shirt or 3 sweatshirts. Please feel free to wear either to the celebration!
