In Memory of Patrick Barrett Cochrane

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Patrick Cochrane, who left us on December 17, 2024 due to an overdose. Patrick was born on November 21, 1984. Patrick was loved so much by his entire family and his many friends. Despite his estrangement, he held a special place in our hearts.

Patrick faced many struggles, including a long battle with addiction. While our paths diverged, we remember his moments of kindness and the love he once shared with us. Pat was a very happy go lucky child, he loved his mother and father dearly, he had great intelligence, and he had a smile that could light up the room.

Patrick is survived by siblings Sarah Hornig, Anne Fineran (Shane), and Bill Cochrane (Sherry), Rylen Bannon (daughter)-mother Kally, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Despite the distance that grew between us, we will always remember him with a mixture of sorrow, fondness, and longing for a life to be shared with us, that could have been. This breaks all our hearts.

Memorial details will be shared at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge in Patrick Cochrane's memory, hoping to help others who face similar battles.

Patrick will be missed and forever loved. Rest in peace, Patrick. We will always love you.
