A loving mother and fierce woman

Pat King passed away peacefully at HealthONE Medical Center on February 2, 2025, at 6:28 am.

Pat is survived by her daughter Amy and son Dan. Pat was a wonderful and supportive grandmother to six grandchildren Kyleigh, Carson (dec.), Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Caden and Caleb. She will be missed by her family and friends, as well as her Dog Park family.

About Pat

Pat graduated with her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Elementary Education. She was an enthusiastic Elementary School Teacher for over 25 years. After her early retirement, Pat became a mentor to teachers-in-training for Arapahoe Community College and tutored students with special needs and lost learning (COVID).

Pat was well known for her matter-of-fact wit and ability to create humor in unexpected situations. She was a strong emotional aid and friend to many people. Her love of reading, food, and travel took her to many places across the world.
