Patricia Jean Rief, 69 of South St Paul, MN died peacefully on the evening of February 20th, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by children Jennifer, Cassandra & Jimmy (Stephanie); beloved grandchildren Dante, Isaac, Mila & Nora; brother Tim (Jeri) & sister Cindy (Dave); and many nieces & nephews.

Patricia (Patty) was born in St Paul on April 15, 1955 to Lavonne & James Rief. She grew up on the East side, attending Tartan High School. She was known for her days working at Michael’s Pizza, fostering life-long friendships and for her love of card games & weekly breakfast with friends. She was never one to miss a party, and her family was her everything. She had three children, but treated her entire group of nieces & nephews as her own. She adored her 4 grandchildren, attending all their events & taking every opportunity to remind them, “Mimi loves you so much”.

An open house celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at Moose Lodge (5927 Concord Blvd) from 11-3pm. Everyone is encouraged to wear purple in honor of Patty.
