Patricia Darlene Bradehoft

Patricia (Pat) Bradehoft passed away on September 21, 2026 at GracePointe Crossing in Cambridge, MN. She was born on September 27, 1938 to John (Jack) and Mabel Oxton in Northwood Hospital, the youngest of 10 children with 4 sisters and 5 brothers living on the family farm near Finley, ND. Years later, when many of her siblings had left home and the farm was sold, Pat moved to Fargo, ND with her parents.

After graduation from high school, Pat moved to the Twin Cities and resided in St. Louis Park for most of her adult life. With her former husband, Pat had one child, Jeffrey, whom she loved very much. Pat was employed by Control Data, where she made lifelong friends, then at Seagate, doing material control. She relished the camaraderie of playing on softball and bowling leagues with coworkers.

Pat was a lifelong member of the American Legion and enjoyed selling lottery tickets there after retirement. She was an avid sports fan, watching the MN Vikings and the Twins, and keeping track of player stats and trivia. Those who knew her well did not call her during her favorite shows: General Hospital and Wheel of Fortune!

Family members and neighbors were special to Pat. She made a point of calling each relative on his or her birthday – and it was a long list with all of her nieces and nephews. The neighborhood dogs all knew to stop by her house to get a treat. She enjoyed babysitting neighbor kids and spending holidays with family members.

Pat is survived by her sisters-in-law Joann Oxton and Annette Oxton, and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Bradehoft, by her parents, and by all of her siblings: Neilan, Donald, James, William, Rodney, Betty, Marian, Francis and Phyllis.
