life story

Peacefully passed away on November 5th, after losing her fight with cancer.

Pat was born 11/23/34 to John and Irene Lindl, in South Saint Paul, MN. It was here she graduated high school, met and married her true love, Jim, and raised their five children. After spending 70 years in South St, Paul, Pat relocated to Forest Lake, MN.

Pat had many passions, especially baking, cooking, and painting. She generously shared her delicious creations with so many of us. Oh that chocolate cake! Painting filled many of her hours and brought her such joy. She was incredibly talented. Many of us have been blessed with her beautiful artwork.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim and two sons Dan and Tom.

Pat loved life and people. She loved to hear stories and share stories. Strangers became friends, because of the way she reached out to them. Also, she was a tough warrior. Even in troubled times she maintained an incredible optimism.

Her devout faith in Jesus Christ gives us peace, knowing she’s in God’s glorious eternity.

On Friday, November 15th, at 11:00AM, a memorial mass will be held at St. John Vianney Church, 789 17th Ave. N., South St. Paul, MN 55075. A light reception will follow. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
