Patricia Ann Hewitt, Patty, age 70, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, surrounded by many who loved her.

Patricia (Mema) was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, Aunt & friend. A woman devoted to her Catholic faith, which remained strong and unwavering throughout her life. Her faith and her family were at the center of who she was.

Patricia will be remembered for her caring, nurturing, loyal, dependable, adventurous, fierce, and uplifting spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, the outdoors and gardening. She also enjoyed reading, particularly about American history, as well as exploring her own family history/genealogy. Patty also loved sharing photos, stories, jokes, and comedy bits she found online which reflected the lighthearted and humorous side of her personality. Above all, she deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, who brought tremendous meaning and joy to her life.

Patricia was the mother of seven children: Elizabeth Daleiden (James), David Fix (Amanda), Patrick Fix, Bradford Fix, Maria Waleski (Jordan), Ethan Fix, and Therese Fix. She was preceded in death by Ethan and Therese.

Patricia was the daughter of Robert Graeb Hewitt and Elizabeth Ann (Walbom) Hewitt, who also preceded her in death. She was one of six siblings and is remembered by Suzanne Allen (Thomas), Gregory Hewitt, Bradford Hewitt (Patricia), Catherine Benson (Scott), Mary Buffie (Mark), and many, many nieces and nephews.

Patricia’s faith and love for her family remained constant throughout her life. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. May she rest in the peace and presence of the Lord.
