Our Mother, Patricia A. Wolfington, 86, of Springfield, IL passed away peacefully on December 25,2025 at Woodbury Healthcare Center in Woodbury, MN.

Born on May 21,1939 to Christopher & Verna Tate.

Patti was happiest when involved with her horses throughout her life & running her business until Sept. 2018 . Patti suffered a stroke in 2018.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Leslie (Buys) Joslin. Her parents Christopher & Verna Tate. Her husband Samuel (Jack) Wolfington.

She is survived by her children, Mitzi(Buys)Krueger(Brad), Brad Buys(Amy), sibling, Suzanne Huelsmann, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.

There will be no service , per her wishes.
