Celebration of Life

July 7, 2023

Rosemount Steeple Center 14375 S Robert Trail, Rosemount, MN 55068, USA

Pam did not want to be mourned. Please come to her Celebration of Life prepared to share a fun story or five. She loved to host her family and friends, as seeing the laughter and smiles are what brought her joy!

life story

Pam was born on May 26th,1958 to LaCroix and Rosemary (Radman) Morse in St. Paul, MN. She graduated from Harding High School in 1976 with a scholarship to college but instead chose to marry the love of her life, Mitchell “Mitch” Paul on October 23rd, 1976 and start a family.

Pam was a spitfire of a woman who loved all her kids (blood related or not). She was the most accepting and welcoming being, which taught us all how to embrace those morals. She used to say "There is a consequence for every action, you just have to choose if you’re willing to pay the consequences."

Pam was a doer, a helper and loved a challenge. She spent her earlier years very active, playing many sports and was even a belly dancer. She was known for making the most elaborate dance costumes from scratch patterns, which likely fueled all the beautiful costumes she made for Heather and Melissa in dance.

In the early 2000's, after Mitch's health scare and the company he had worked at for 18 years closed it's doors, she supported Mitch as he went to college to change careers; all with 2 kids still at home.

After the kids were all out of the house, Pam enjoyed watching game shows and was wicked good at Wheel of Fortune. She loved going to the casino with her girlfriends, traveling with her sister, speed reading books and get-togethers with family.

Pam battled small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) fiercely, starting in April 2022 with 45 sessions of chemo and 12 sessions of radiation. She defied odds at every instance and went into remission in October of 2022, but SCLC is an aggressive one. Pam won the game of cancer whack-a-mole many times and met every obstacle with the most positive outlook! In late May of 2023, she decided to no longer proceed with treatment.

On May 26th, our family went on a trip to Universal Studios together so Pam could bring Mitch to Harry Potter world (something she wanted to do for a LONG time) and celebrate many birthdays. Upon returning from this trip, she was admitted to the hospital where it was discovered that the cancer had traveled to her brain. Pam was discharged to home hospice on June 2nd, where we were honored to ensure all of her needs and wants were met right up until her final breath.

Pam will be dearly missed by her hubby Mitch; daughter Heather Paul of Northfield; daughter Melissa (Andy) Crawford of Wilton, IA; son Matthew (Kristian) Paul of Maplewood; daughter Crystal (Dustin) Paul of Rosemount; 11 grandchildren, Alexis, Aurora, Kiley, Maggie, Logan, Ruby, Coralynn, Cameron, Mieke, Rosemary and Lincoln; sister Vicki Little of Lindstrom, MN; brother Thomas Morse of Seattle, WA; in-laws, George (Peg) Paul, Catherine Paul; sister-in-law Robin (Scott) Paul; brother-in-law David (Rosalie) Paul; many nephews and nieces; friends and coworkers; numerous bonus children and family from throughout the years.

Pam was preceded in death by father LaCroix “Lee”; mother Rosemary “Rosie”; great uncle Terrance Paul; sister in-law Leilani Morse; brother-in-law Steven Little; brother-in-law Jay Paul; and second mom Bernice Vorlicky.
