life story
Pamela Jackson
Pamela Jackson was a mother, grandmother, sister, nurse, and friend whose life was defined by compassion, strength, and an unwavering love for others. She had a natural gift for caring for others, a quality that shaped her lifelong career in nursing.
Pamela was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Cheryl Gonzales Stainback, her father ,Thomas Ahysen, and stepfather, Floyd Stainback, whom she carried in her heart throughout her life. Their influence helped shape the caring, resilient woman she became.
She leaves behind her children: Joshua Thibodeaux (DeNeil), Ashli Ford (Donald), and Mitzi Hebert (Charles). Pamela was a loving grandmother to Kyleigh, Davin, Ace, Braelynn, Peyton, Averlee, Jace, Mavrick, and Lucas, each of whom brought her immense happiness. Her love for her grandchildren was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Pamela is also survived by her siblings: Michael, Kevin, Brandi, and Shawn (Julia), with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and deep family bonds. She was a loving aunt to twelve nieces and nephews, including her godchildren, Justin, Destiny, Dallon, Gaven, and Zane who held a special place in her heart.
As a nurse, Pamela dedicated her life to helping others, offering not only medical care but genuine kindness, patience, and comfort to everyone she encountered. Nursing was more than a profession to her—it was a calling, and she fulfilled it with grace and selflessness.
Outside of her work and family, Pamela found joy and companionship in her dogs, who were constant sources of comfort and unconditional love. They were truly part of her family and rarely far from her side. Pamela also found joy in creating videos on social media, skin care, and makeup.
She made countless friendships that she cherished deeply.
Pamela Jackson will be remembered for her warm heart, nurturing spirit, and the deep love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched—as a mother, grandmother, sister, nurse, and friend. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A memorial service will be held for close family and friends to honor Pamela. Details will be announced at a later time.
