Grandpa Owen

Owen Neil Nordine, 88, of Maplewood passed away August 16th, 2026. Born in Morris MN on November 14th,1937. Owen was a loving, caring, outgoing, good humored, hardworking, devoted family man. He enjoyed keeping up on current events, football, listening to music, being outside, spending time with family, swimming, horseback riding, and traveling. Being near the ocean was his favorite place. At a young age, Owen and his brother Harvey worked at their Aunt and Uncle's farm in Wheaton MN. When Owen was 17 he joined the Marine Corp and served 3 years. Later at Stillwater prison he served 20 plus years as a Corrections Officer. In Owen's retirement years he was a school bus driver and also drove for Metro Mobility. He was a husband, brother, father, stepfather, foster father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Owen is missed by many and will be in our loving memories for years to come.
