Nilsson Bradley Ford

life story

Nilsson Bradley Ford age 22 Passed away on March 10, 2025 at 11:36 pm at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. Nilsson was born on January 26, 2003 during a blizzard at St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids, MN to Christi Nelson and Bradley John Ford jr. Nilsson attended school in Pine River, MN. He enjoyed his jobs cooking in the northern Minnesota tourist area.

Nilsson was a bright, funny, kind, sweet, loving boy. As a child he enjoyed building with Lincoln Logs and Lego. He loved swimming and playing at the beach either on the Mississippi River or on the lakes up north. He loved being a big brother to his 7 younger siblings, Tyler, Whyatt, Oakley, Asher, Daisy, Hunter and Savannah. He loved his family so much. He loved hugs and always made sure to say: "I love you" as much as he could. Nilsson was an avid gamer on Xbox using his nickname "Wolfie". He loved watching movies with his family. Nilsson suffered from asthma from a young age and it affected his ability to be very active, but he loved to have deep conversations about life. He was so passionate and kind. I don't think i ever heard him say a mean word about anyone. The world is darker without him.

The morning of March 3, 2025, Nilsson was excited to soon be on a plane to Texas to visit his maternal grandparents and great grandparents. Unfortunately Nilsson had an acute asthma attack and sudden cardiac arrest in the arms of his mother. The ambulance had already been called and they were able to get his heart started and got him breathing, but it was too late. Nilsson suffered catastrophic brain damage and was not able to sustain his life. At 11:36 pm, Nilsson was pronounced dead. Nilsson always loved superheros and he was able to be one in death as his organs were donated. Although our prayers weren't answered for Nilsson, he was able to answer the prayers of other families. We will miss Nilsson forever.
