“Nate the Great” Our Beloved “Gentle Giant”

Nathaniel Robert Rogers, passed away suddenly in his home on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

He was born in Omaha,Nebraska on January 18,1981 and reared in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is survived by his mother, Annette and stepfather Odis Jr., siblings Ken, Shawnte, Curtrice, Dahnelle, Otis “T”, and Curtis, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Nate the Great was a radiant light to this family. He had the most beautiful and amazing smile that could cheer you up when you were feeling down. He was a Gentle Giant with a big warm heart and kind spirit.

He was called home to be with our Lord and will be dearly missed. We know he is gone to a better place.

Thank you so much for the outpouring care, encouragement, love and prayers for the family. It was an adventure to share in Nate's life journey; to now remember the funny things, the love and the pain, the moments of enjoyment found in his big heart and the sound of his laughter. It just struck me that these are just some of the gifts that God gives us with children that remain beyond the flesh and bones. Their memories, we get the hold on too after He calls them home. I am grateful for His infinite wisdom, mercy and grace.
