With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved grandmother on the morning of May 2nd. Though she left us peacefully in her sleep, the news has come as a great shock to the entire family.

She was the embodiment of love, warmth, and kindness — the kind of soul who made every house feel like home and every heart feel seen. Her generosity of spirit, her gentle smile, and her endless patience touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Whether it was through her simple presence, thoughtful words, or warm embrace, she made others feel safe, heard, and deeply loved.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Fatema Engineer, her cherished granddaughters Zainab and Sakina Kheriwala, and the entire family who adored her.

Her memory will live on in every cup of chai shared, every prayer whispered with love, and in the quiet wisdom she passed down through the generations. She taught us compassion, resilience, and the value of family — lessons we will carry in our hearts forever.
