Mollie Jo Besch, 41, of Bemidji, MN, formerly of International Falls, MN died Sunday, June 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mollie Jo was born July 14, 1980 in International Falls, MN, the daughter of David and Natalie (Vertina) Stavseth. She was raised and educated in International Falls, graduating high school in 1998.

She worked at Super One in International Falls. She moved to Bemidji and got a degree in Medical Transcription from Norwest Tech. She married Ryan Besch, July 28, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church in International Falls, MN.

While living in Bemidji she worked for Lueken’s Village Foods and Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. She enjoyed being a part of Bemidji Youth Hockey and AAA Hockey. She enjoyed playing hockey and 4-wheeling at the Hilltop Hilton with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Ryan Besch, children, Kaleb and Brock Besch, parents, David and Natalie Stavseth, father and mother-in-law, Randy and Jane Besch, brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Laura Besch, sister-in-law, Tara Besch, aunts and uncles, Bruce Stavseth, Pam and Bob Peterson, Jan and John Strain, Jim and June Stavseth, Dan and Sheri Vertina, Bev and Wayne Forsythe, special friend, Travis Stoltz, and all her beloved cousins, hockey family and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gustav and Marian Stavseth, Lornie and Ina Vertina, cousin, Benjamin Stavseth, and her beloved dog, Baxter.

Honorary urn bearers will be all of her many friends and her hockey families.

Pastor Mark Peterson will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. There will be a celebration of life following service at Union Hall, 509 3rd St., International Falls, MN.
