Mary Louise (Stocker) Moffitt

Born February 21, 1944 to Floyd L. Stocker and Opal M. (White) Stocker in Rochester, Mn. Mary went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2026 at her home in Burnsville, MN after a long battle with cancer. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Diane, and Mary’s in-laws Joe and Ruby Moffitt. Mary is survived by her husband of 31 years 11 months, Mark Moffitt, two children, Mark Baisley, (Roseann) and Michelle Baisley, (Dave), two step-children, Elizabeth Larsen, (Hans) and Steven Moffitt, four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, two brothers, Paul Stocker and Glenn Stocker, (Marlys).

Mary was a member of The Well United Methodist Church in Rosemount, MN for many years. She was noted for her faithful, loving spirit, serving the church in a variety of ways including music, various children leadership positions, Unidos En Christo, Bible Study Fellowship, a Bible Study renewal group, “Women on Wednesdays, W.O.W.”, cooking food for the Simpson Homeless Shelter, and Prayer Shawl ministry.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Well Methodist Church on September 12, 2026 at 11:00am. Visitation at 10:00am.
