About Mike

Mike Hamilton of Hopkins passed away on January 8, 2022, born on June 27, 1955 Mike was a life long Minnesotan. Mike is preceded in death by his Parents Warren and Mabel and his older sister Marilyn. He is survived by his son Michael and three sisters Myra, Mary and Marsha.

Mike enjoyed sports and recreation all of his life starting at a young age. Baseball, softball and broomball to name a few. Whether it was coaching his son on the baseball field or being a official on the ice he was involved with sports for 35 plus years. In 2019 Mike was inducted into the USA Broomball Hall of Fame for his dedication and contributions to the sport of broomball. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends on various trips across the United States and abroad. Spending time with friends was important and Mike brought the humor and was the life of the party. Mike was a Grandfather to his Grandson Elliot and loved to show up with special gifts and celebrate birthdays and visit often. Mike impacted many lives with being giving of himself and will be deeply missed.
