Mike Skweres

Loving and caring husband and grandfather

Mike Skweres, age 75, passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2023 after a long battle with COPD.

He was retired from both the Minnesota army national guard and worked as a plant Maintenace engineer for the state of MN.

Mike was preceded in death by parents Frank and Delores Skweres, brother Steven Skweres and sister Anna Kook.

Survived by his loving and caring wife Debbie Skweres Beringer, stepdaughter Jennifer (Jace) Aydt, son Bob (megan) Skweres, daughter Sarah Despiegelaere, brothers Donald Skweres, Peter (Susan) Skweres, sister Tina (Tom) Sutton, grandchildren Jake and Jada Aydt, Nicholas and Rebecca Skweres.

MIke enjoyed his trips to Arizona and South Dakota with his wife and grandchildren Jake and Jada. He loved spending time gardening and feeding and watching the birds. He also enjoyed his trips in the fall to South Dakota pheasant hunting with his good friend Ed Downey.

Mass of Christian burial Thursday February 23rd 2023 @ 10:30 AM with visitation beginning @ 9:00AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment on a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
