About Mike
Micheal "Mike" Brown, 68, of Lino Lakes, MN, passed away on January 19, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Micheal was born on March 16th, 1955, to Nancy and Everett in Mankato, Mn. In 1971, Mike met his lifelong love, Judy and in 1973, they married. He went on to serve for his country with the United States Marine Corp at the age of 17 from 1971-76. During this time he gained his GED. After his service for his country, he and his wife Judy moved back to Minnesota. Mike and Judy went on to have 2 children, Amber, and Regina. Some of Mike's happiest times were watching his daughters play softball, and even coached it for a time. His love for sports didn't end there. Mike could often be found at home enjoying sports of any kind on TV and loved watching his Grandson Ashton play football and basketball. Mike later went on to college and gained certification in the maintenance electrical trade. Micheal was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world and was unendingly proud of them, always doing his best to support them. Micheal was also a passionate painter and woodworker and could often be found in his garage or basement working on a project in these arts. His works of art surround he and Judy's home filling it with color and beauty. His memory will go on forever through these expressions. Micheal was predeceased by Nancy and Everett Brown (parents), and Carol (Carrie) Terrell (sister). He is survived by Judy (wife), Amber (Dan) Klawitter (daughter/son-in-law), Regina Brown (Hank James) (daughter/son-in-law), Grandsons Ashton Hoffman and Connor Klawitter, siblings Nanette Brown, Everett Brown, Beverly Brown, Sherry Brown, brother-in laws Ralph Terrell, Keith Lawver and Butch Lawver.
