Michael Vrudny

Michael Christian Vrudny, age 24, passed away from a cardiac event October 23, 2024. Michael was born June 14, 2000, in Edina, Minnesota, the son of Teresa and Michael Vrudny.

He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, Michael grew up in Big Lake and St. Michael, graduating from St. Michael Albertville, High School.

Following high school, Michael studied at Winona State, moved to Minneapolis and worked. He began as an apprentice with the IBEW 292 Electrical Union in 2024.

Michael enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing video games, lifting weights, spending time with friends and family. Michael was a funny guy, looked out for his younger brothers, talking about many subjects including the Bible and history.

Michael is survived by his father, Michael Sr., brothers Christopher and Patrick, half-siblings, Joshua and Rachel, Aunt Cheryl Smith, great-Uncle Bob, great Aunt Doris, Uncle Stephan and Aunt Rose, Aunt Krista, cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa.

Michael will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 with 10:00am reviewal, 11:00 service and a light lunch to follow at Coon Rapids Free Evangelical Church, 2650 128th Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55448.
