Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather (Papa)

Michael P Tima, age 86 of St Paul, MN passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Michael is survived by his son, John Tima, daughter, Suzanne Tima (Terry Bergeron), granddaughters Emma Bergeron, Heidi Lockman (Brooke), Abbey Knudtson, great grandkids, brother Tony Tima, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family, friends, caregiver/roommate Jessica Doocy, his feline companion, Minnie, and grand fur babies.

During his last weeks with us, we would like to specially thank Accent Hospice care team to have the heart they do and providing dad comfort through this difficult journey, as this was very hard for us, John, Suzie and Jessica to be his caregivers while he was declining.

About Mike (Uncle Pete)

Mike loved his family, being a PAPA and anyone that came into his life. Mike was Uncle Pete to many nieces and nephews.

Dad was the kind of guy that welcomed anyone, fed you if you were hungry, and offered his home to you. He always had a soft spot for the ladies.

He was the one that you could always count on. He was always willing to help, even if you didn't ask him, but he would say "I would have done it this way".

He was well loved by everyone and had the biggest heart.

He loved to hunt and fish, and sure was a storyteller by exaggerating for the one that got away.

He was the one who would be curious about what you were doing.

He didn't call before he showed up at your house, as it seemed he always had a sense of food, so you had to be sure there was plenty and make him a plate.

He always had a favor from you no matter how big or small the favor was.

He will be forever loved and missed, as he is back together with his lovely wife, Virginia.
